Weight Watchers Online?!

Question: For anyone who is currently using Weight Watchers online can you please tell me how it is? Several years ago I did Weight Watchers and was going to meetings regularly. Then my schedule got hectic and I moved and haven't been strict since. I am looking to start back up but would like to do it online this time. Can anyone tell me 1. Do you still need to go and buy the starter kit with the Dining Out Companion and the Complete Food Companion or is all of this information online and 2. Is it the same information and just like the meetings without the face to face contact and weigh ins? THANKS!

It's basically the same, but I really do think there's something motivating about actually going to the meetings. I've been on Weight Watchers for a couple of years, and I tried to do it the online way first... but I didn't have any success. As it turns out, I really like going and getting on the scale at my meeting and being told "good job!"

WW Online is great, because they have all kinds of tools on there for you to use... a meal planner, a recipe finder, a points tracker, a weight loss tracker, etc. They even have message boards so you can chat with other people who have the same issues you do.

It's basically the same as the meetings, but you have to do it on your own. If you have the dedication and the willpower to do it... then you're a stronger person than I am! :)

Best of luck!!!

WW online is a supplement to meetings and the information you get there. I think you must be a member to have complete access. It doesn't substitute for the support or information you get at meetings. If you're ready and motivated to make the serious commitment, joining WW is definitely worth it.
