Sauna before or after?!


Question: I want to use the sauna at the gyme i go to but can i use the sauna if i also want to exercise..if i can is it better to use it before or after i exercise?

The Idea of the sauna is to sweat out toxins in the heat, and then take a quick cold dip in the pool,or shower, to close the pores of the skin, and wash off the toxins. If you are after this effect, you should exercise first, then sauna, then shower cold. If you just like the way the sauna feels, then just do what feels good to you.

why not both, b4 to accelerate body temp, and increase thermogenesis and after as a "cool down" and to extend and maintain heat for thermogensis, plus youll be swaeting and that way it will help sweat more reulsting in better weight loss(water)

After, I usually do my workout then go to the sauna and spend about 30 min in there

Don't know for sure, but I would think after because you're already sweaty from the workout. After the sauna you can jump right in the shower.

after definitely its a way of widing down after a good workout.

only use the sauna on none exercising days as a relaxer and a refresher.. you will get dehydrated otherwise.. sauna should never be used for weight loss.
