Lose Weight Treadmill?!


Question: will running on the treadmill help lose body fat and leg fat?
and how long should i run on the tread mill everyday for?
im 13 years old 5'7 150 pounds i wanna lose weight

Its great you wanna lose weight!
and yes, running on the treadmill will lose leg fat and body fat, as well as build muscle, which the ladies like =p, so i definetely encourage it.

Well, since i dont know how much you can run at a time, its best to start like this.

We allknow that to lose weight we have to burn more than we eat, and get out heart rate up and keep it up at least 20 minutes.
So i recomend figuring how many calories you consume each day, then figure out how many calories you need to burn.
But if you don't want to, i would just suggest
by starting out running at a nice pace, bu tnot to slow, and keep going for 10 minutes or so, if you get to tired, push yourself a bit more, then swithc to a very brisk walk for a few minutes, then back to a jog, for about 30 minutes at lest 5/6 times a week.
Just keep in mind, you should be pushing yourself.
If you can job 15 minutes straight, and could keep going, don't jsut stop cause you'vedone 15 minutes, push yourself some more!

running is fine. That should do it. With cardio you will loose weight everywhere
