If you want to learn how to swim, go do it.. Don't let people stop you from getting your body.. Get a work out.. We weren't all born in shape.. Come on... Self confidence.. You'll get the look sooner than you know, just don't be afraid..

DO LOTS OF SITUPS

pilates.

as soon as you find out let me know... exactly what i would like to know too... even though i'll go swimming.. especially since swimming works every muscle in your body which equals a better physique... lol

lool calm down just eat alot of fruit! and do crunches situps and run :] good luck!

being fat is a gene

"Although obesity is an individual clinical condition, it is increasingly viewed as a serious and growing public health problem: excessive body weight has been shown to predispose to various diseases, tunnel vision, ear aches, malaria and onortostioritus of the liver.[1][2]"

sometimes surgery can help prevent a few of the onset diseases, but hope is far and slim.

good luck

Dude,

Multiple small meals a day, lots of protein.

Read the book called the ABS diet.

It worked for me.

Well I hope I can help. There are some meds. you can try. Or there is old school sit ups. They help get with that belly fat and love handles. And they help out with your waist line.

Don't worry about doing situps. Everyone has ab musles. You need to uncover them. Hop on a cardio machine. Simple. Eat cleaner too. (lean meats. veggies, fruits.)

Agreed with that other guy, the abs diet is really good and they have alot of stomach exercises in the book.
Pilates is good for toning your entire body, crunches and sit-ups are your best options. And laughing intensely :P
Seriously, go to the pool early in the morning when there's only really old people there and it'll be less intimidating.

You need to have a balanced diet to show results.

I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her (100% natural). I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at
http://thin-weight-loss.us , my aunt got a free trial and paid only $4.95 shipping and handling.

There is no such thing as spot reduction. Doing situps, crunches, knee raises, you name it will not increase the visibility of your abdominals. If you have fat that you want to get rid of, it doesn't matter where, you need to have a negative caloric balance. In other words, you need to start doing cardio (as Go Cowboys said) or decrease your caloric intake, or both (just don't overdo it). One pound of fat is equivalent to 3500 calories so if you simply decrease your intake by 300 calories each day, in just about two weeks you could lose one pound of fat, in one month you could lose two -- and that's with no extra physical activity. Although one pound of fat doesn't seem like much, this is what it looks like: http://www.starling-fitness.com/wp-conte...
