Yes it is.. but tell her to make sure her diet is good...

It depends on the person, but it is important to let muscles rebound ... when you run and get that burning feeling you are actually feeling muscle burn with glycolic acid... rest days are important but many people do run every day. getting in shape is not a sprint though its a marathon and should be at a slow steady pace... I would say 4-5 x weekly max

There is no problem with your sister running everyday. However, the caveat being that your sister knows her body the best.

She may want to take it easy at first, steadily increasing the amount she runs, and the frequency. One thing to be careful of is shin splints....they can be very painful and really hamper her efforts to get on a regimen.

Therefore the best advice would be to set an exercise goal that is attainable at first...say a mile a day....then steadily increase until she is running 3 miles a day, or 40 minutes. Again knowing what your body can handle is the best indication of how much you can exercise.

Lastly, diet is also going to help her reach her goals. Tell her to stick to small portions of rice, chicken, fish, veggies, and plenty of water.

thats good, she should be losing atleast 300 cal a day if she does that, and eats healthy
