Bicep...pic included?!


Question: as u can c my bicep is small.
so i want to 'blow it up'...got any excercises i could do..all i have is dumbells.

I see people in the gym spending hours working their biceps. Its ridiculous. A curl is a curl. There is no such thing as "working the "peak" or "head" of the bicep. The biceps brachii is a single fusiform grouping of muscle fibers that expand and contract one way. There is no way to train them to bunch up and peak in the middle. Those that have that are genetically gifted.

The key to hypertrophy (muscle growth) is time under tension in addition to intensity and rest intervals. You make your money when the muscle is lengthened under tension. There are thee phases to any exercise. The first phase is a slow lowering (eccentric-lengthening) of the weight down to a parallel positioning with the ground. This should be a controlled 3-5 second movement. It should burn but not injure. Use appropriate weight. The 2nd phase is isometric. It
