Does Slimfast really work?!

Question: Have you seen Oprah? Tommy Lasorda? No, it doesn't work. If you try to live on it for a few months, you will certainly lose weight. But it is an extremely unhealthy way to go about it, and not sustainable. I don't know anybody who has maintianed a fit, healthy body for years while making those disgusting shakes a part of their daily diet--NOBODY, and I work out at a couple of different gyms and know a lot of very fit people. NONE OF THEM, I repeat, NONE OF THEM got that way on slimfast. Again, think of their two most famous celebrity "success" stories--Oprah and former Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda. Both of them became as fat as ever a short time after going off slimfast. I had a manager who used to bring it as his lunch. In two years I worked with him, he didn't lose any weight. I would pretty much guarantee that after a day of starving himself with a pathetic excuse for nutrition like slimfast, he went home extremely hungry and full of cravings for high fat, sugary or salty food. That's what happens on a starvation diet, which is all slimfast is--your body craves fat more than ever.

I am sure I am not the first person to tell you that the ONLY way to lose weight is to adopt a healthy diet and a serious exercise program. It really isn't that hard to do. Very, very busy people manage to do it. And people who do this are not only thinner and more attractive, they also feel much better and more energized. I really can't understand why people continually want to try these idiotic diets like slimfast, when they could have much better success, and feel much better and more positive overall if they simply adopted a healthy lifestyle, instead of looking for magic solutions. There is no magic solution for losing weight. There is only a healthy diet and a lot of exercise. Those two things work for EVERYBODY, except for a very, very tiny percentage of people who truly do have some sort of medical condition.

depends. if you eat a lot snacks with it / don't eat anything with it/ you will lose weight if the plan is followed, and eat big for breakfast, lighter in the day

no it is high in sugar, and when you go off it you baloon up like the hindenberg

Yes it works if you exercise three times a week
and follow the plan by replacing two meals a day with a Slim
Fast drink.

It works for me, but to only lose around 5-10 pounds after the holiday. I only drink one shake a day (the Optima kind, with more protein and fiber in it), at breakfast, then a lean cuisine at lunch and a sensible dinner. Snacks are yogurt, fruit, or a small peice of chocolate. I also work out a lot.

If you can drink a can of processed, killed dairy product, full of sugar and other toxic substances, instead of a meal, I guess you can lose weight that way, but it's no different than any other calorie restriction diet.

The only selling point is convenience, which it is fairly convenient to use, just pop open a can...

But healthy...? NO. Sustainable? NO.

Teaches healthy eating habits for life? NO.

Here's a much better idea. It's more work, but it will change your life forever and improve your health.

Here it is: go to http://www.wholepurefood.com and first watch "How to get fat without even trying" After you watch the video, then go to the products section, and purchase the LIQUITHON.

It's money back guaranteed, so it's no risk. Then do the liquithon. It will start you on a detox, and you will lose weight on it, but in a healthy way, eating raw, organic, whole foods.

Then, start using SLOW food:

S ustainable
L ocal
O rganic
W hole

Foods...

Also, you might want to try the Phi Plus from Wholefood Farmacy; it is 44 raw organic ingredients, and it tastes like one of those "energy bars" but it's actually good for you.

You can just eat that when you feel hungry, drink pure water with it. Use it along with your SLOW diet.

This is highly preferable to the Slim-Fast diet, which only works if you follow the diet plan. Every diet works if you follow the diet plan...only you have to exercise a lot of self-control to stay on a boring diet like that and it just teaches you to crave sugar even more than you already do....

If you watch the video, it will make you feel a lot better about taking care of your health, and it shows how it's not even your fault you are overweight. You will receive tools to take control of your body's health. You only get one body per lifetime, so taking care of it is a good idea, and Slim-fast is not part of a healthy eating plan.
