Is it ok to have a cheat day?!


Question: Ok. I've been watching what I eat and dieting everyday so far..now that the weekend is coming to an effect..I'm thinking of having my favorite meal..PIZZA! Is it ok to have one or two cheat days and keep maintaining my diet through out the week? Will I still be able to loose the weight?

Girl!!!!!!!!!!! LET LOOSE!!!! When you are craving something it is better to suit your craving instead of not letting your body have it bc you will just crave it more and eat EVEN more when you get it. Dont worry I always cheat once a week and i havent gained a single pound. Dont even worry about it!!!! BE FREE!!! Lol

yes! i usually splurge a little bit on the weekends too, just dont go too crazy! :)

Yes. Cheat days for diets are very beneficial. It gets the cravings out of your system and really, one day of getting off track isn't going to blow your diet. Mind you, I wouldn't go crazy either. But feel free to splurge on a piece of cake or a bowl of ice cream, or something like that.

I still lost all my weight when I was at Weight Watchers. Every Friday was my splurge day. I didn't go crazy, just had a second slive of pizza and a bowl of ice cream (for example), instead of veggie slices and Special K cereal! :)

No...you can have a cheat "item"but not a full day.

Yes. It is okay to have at least a cheat day meaning one day out of the week. Rememeber there is a saying, "You are what you eat." However, do a workout the next day to ensure your success in achieving your goal. Good Luck!
