What do you consider to be a "well rounded" or "healthy lunch&quo!


Question: i've heard you have to balance out your lunch with all certain types of food groups. im trying to loose some weight. what chould i bring thats from different food groups that is healthy and can help you loose weight (basically, its not junk food)

A good lunch might look like this:
container of organic yogurt (not Yoplait or Dannon or any brand that uses high fructose corn syrup!!!)
piece of fresh fruit
fresh raw or steamed vegies
1/2 sandwich on pita bread or wrap--turkey or chicken breast with lettuce, mustard (lower in fat than mayo)

You want to eat enough to keep yourself from having your blood sugar drop after lunch. Protein helps you keep from doing that.

Anything homemade is always the way to go. Never fall for the fast food places. Try a really big sald with lots of veggies and some dressing, i know it may not seem great but it will fill you up. Also, you can add grilled chicken into the salad which would make it even well rounded and delicious.

A sandwich made with brown bread with a heaalthy filling such as salmon or salad and 1 or 2 peices of fruit. peice of cheese.

To have a healthy body you need to eat well. Balance out your food groups with different options. The next time you visit the grocery store, buy all healthy foods such as, veggies, fruits, meat. Control yourself and be in the healthy mode. Using these foods create a delicious lunch. Also, when you go to the grocery store, keep choosing healthy diet options. Sometimes, when you go on a diet like this you forget all about health so to make it easier make a chart to help yourself. Keep up the healthy habits!
