Anyone use Weight Watchers Online? Worth the money? why/why not?!

I lost a lot of weight on Weight Watchers BUT BUT BUT -- I did not pay any fees. I got their points card, bought their cookbooks (which have good recipes!!) PLUS, for instance, Healthy Choice frozen meals and others have WW points on the box so you can keep track. I was eating them for lunch at work.....you can do it without putting money into it -- well, other than buying the cookbooks and you don't HAVE to do that but I would suggest it -- it helped us. When you have food that you can prepare that tastes good, it's worth it.

I've tried everything to lose weight but it doesn't seem to come off. I exercised and did a lot of extreme sports. Nothing could get me where I wanted. I've heard weight watchers doesn't work for some.

I have done it. It was ok.
I am the type of person that can't stick to any diet plan.

Last year I joined WW again and went to meetings. The plan where you pay by month gives you access to the website too.
Try that first. Plus if you go to the meetings they can weigh you and you can buy the starter pack which comes with a journal. Then when you have the hang of it, do it alone with the web.
I do like the website because you can find recipes easily.

I used a different online weight loss website (www.weightlossresources.co.uk), but it was definitely worth it. They had message boards where you could get advice and encouragement (so does WWO), and an online calorie counter where you filled in everything you'd eaten that day and it calculated how much you could still eat. It was a bit expensive because my country has a weak currency, so I've carried on on my own - but it was more effective when I used the website. It also had an exercise calorie calculator, so that if you mess up and overeat, you can work out how much you need to exercise to get rid of it.

You need a bit more discipline to use the online version, because there's no weekly meeting and weigh-in to keep you accountable. But it's still easier to use a website than to go it completely alone.
