im 15 adn although ive never been over weight i do know this DO NOT TAKE WEIGHT LOSS PILLS OR LAXATIVES because we are still going through puberty it permanently slows down your matabolism. which makes it harder to loose the weight. I would get my diet correct and take protein shakes.

Concentrate on overall fitness and maintaining a healthy heart. Eat six times a day. Try makeing your meals 60% protein 40% carbs.

Eat a combination of lean protein and healthy carbohydrates every few hours throughout the day to speed up fat loss and maintain stable energy levels.

Eat your proteins from lean sources (Chicken, fish, boiled eggs, lean beef with all the fat drained off) and beans (lentil, lima, chili or any type of bean)

For carbs, eat green leafy vegetables, carrots, raisins, broccoli and fresh fruits.

NO SODA!!!! if you drink fruit juice make sure its 100% juice not from concentrate.

If you do get hungry eat organic granola bars(in moderation).
try to get your friends to eat healthier when your together because when you see them eating burgers and fries there is a greater chance of you slipping.

Exercise three times per week alternating days between weight train aerobic exercise three times per week. dont lift more than you can it should burn not hurt. and run run run i dont know why but its easier for females to loose weight from running than anything else.

Being a teen i know this will be hard but it shouldnt be a strict diet just know what you put in you body is what you get out.

When you get rid of those few extra pouds continue exrcising and eat healthy or the weight will come back in a blink of an eye.

hope this helps

Drink water?
Try beef jerky? (( it takes awhile to chew, so apparently, you get "tired" of eating, or something like that. ))
Chew gum?

eat healthy, exercise a lot, sleep early, eat less fat, eat more fruits and vegies

Really try low carb. I am 47 years old now and I grew up FAT. I thought about food all the time and I thought there was just something wrong with me.

Now I don't dwell on food like I used to. I am seldom really hungry. I don't exercise (although everyone should, including me) yet I have lost 42 lbs (19 kg) since August 26th.

Best wishes to you!

talk to a doctor. i dont think anyone should feel comfortable giving a kid weight loss advice online.

Get active. 4- 6 healthy small meals a day. That's right 4- 6. Nothing less! Over eating is caused by eating only when you are hungry, so you eat till you are full. So eat more small meals and you won't be as hungry at regular meal times. Drink 8 cups of water a day- a big one before your dinner. And eat slower.
And get active. Do something: sports, running, weights, bad minton, whatever!

laxatives, vomiting, etc.

OK , you need to exercises everyday eg: stretchers-you should exercises before you eat.
as well you have to have a healthy diet. but you cant do it as click as a finger!
breaky: i recommend every morning you have hot boiled water because it cleans your body and it makes you detox. and if you can put lemon in it that will be even better if you can. you should also have some fruit. because fruit has lots of water and sugar-but heathly sugar.
lunch:a nice healthy salad roll-or salad ...etc..dinner: carbs, meat, vegetables good luck!

First thing don't starve yourself of any vitals like carbs or even fat. Eat an apple or some fruit 5 minutes b4 you eat. Eat preportioned meals (no second helpings) and under no circumstances eat over 3 meals a day. By eating more than 3 meals a day your body will over produce insulin and lead to diabetes. Stay away from trans fats and you should be fine.

P.S. Also work toward leaving food on your plate.

How much weight do you want to lose?

However much it is, this might help:
