Is it safe to eat so-called 'Good fats' when on a diet?!


Question: I like things like nuts (especially cashews) and avocados. These foods' fat grams are off the charts, and nuts are something like 50% fat! Yet more nutritionists and what not are saying they're good for you. Confused. So my answer is, altho they may be good for me, will they make me gain weight?

Cashews and avocados are not very good when dieting. At least eat then from time to time (once a week in small quantity).

You want to eat walnuts or almonds. Both are very good for you with walnuts having the highest Omega-3 fats. Those fats are good for you.
