Ladies, after pregnancy, did you're stomach fat remain, and with loads of st!

Question: I just watched a programme on discovery about 3 women post preg trying to lose stomach fat. they're stomachs were similarly flabby, and full of stretch marks. is this the case for most women?? And how did u lose the flab? some women seem to have perfect stomachs after having children (not straight after ;) )

Actually i had stretch marks b4 preg so the fact that they remained didnt bother me! My husband married them with me and if they all of a sudden bother him...he can "HIT THE ROAD JACK...& DONT CHA COME BACK NO MORE, NO MORE, NO MORE, NO MORE" just kidding! BUT seriously, they dont bother "us". LOL

I have 2 kids, maybe 2 teeny tiny stretch marks and a flat belly. It all has to do with genetics if you'll get stretch marks, unfortunately. Just watch what you eat and excersize once in awhile and the fat will melt away! Breastfeeding helps too!

It really depends how much weight you gained during pregnancy. I didn't gain much weight when I was pregnant, but now three years later my stomach is flabby. And I thought chasing after a toddler was supposed to be considered exercise!!! I think crunches and especially aerobics will help. Good luck!!!

Thats usually how it is.. Some ladies have good genetics and everything bounces back with no stretch marks and others are not so lucky.. Also alot to do if you had natural birth or C section. Csections all the muscles are cut so you are never the same...

I have two kids and the stomach fat remained after my pregnancies. I work out every day and still can't seem to get rid of the flab around the middle. It's likely that my abdominal muscle needs to be surgically tightened because it separated during pregnancy (both vaginal births, both over 10lbs). Also, I've tried every scar/stretch mark cream known to man with no results.

I think it really *is* genetic as all of the women in my family have the same problems after they have kids.

I'm seriously considering laser treatment and absominoplasty (it's going to take ages to save up that kind of money though).

As much as I love my kids, I really wish I knew then what I know now. I'd trade it all to have *me* back.

YES, after my first I didn't have any but the first time I bought so much stuff to rub on my stomach so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. The second go round I didn't rub much of anything on my stomach, Also the second baby was a lot larger (a boy). As time has gone on some of them have faded but you still see quite a few. I have friends that swear by some stretch mark cream that cost $125, I'm not sure if it's called Strivectin (ms) but they all claim it removed their marks (they don't have any so I guess it did) and exercise is the only cure for the flabby belly.

Great post! I totally understand how you feel. I'm also trying to lose weight and I found this great product which is working for me (it's all 100% natural). You can check the website at
http://thin-and-free.us , I had a free trial and paid less than $5.00 shipping and handling. Best of luck!
