I would start tracking your calories, for success, though, you can't look at it as starting a diet, but a healthy way of eating! Enter your information in here to findout your BMI, this will tell you how many calories a day your body needs to consume to maintain your weight (with no exercise). You will want to subtract 300-500 calories from this number for weightloss.

Keep in mind, NEVER go under 1200 calories, this is not healthy for your body.

If you want a free online calorie tracker (this might be best for you with two 2 year olds!) it saves you the trouble of keeping track of everything because you just type it in and it configures everything for you! And saves everyday, so I can go back 2 years ago (when I started using it) and see what I was eating day to day, it's pretty cool and totally free-which is my favorite part!

Try to eat 5-6 small healthy meals/snacks a day every 3 hours or so, this will keep your metabolism going all day, causing it to burn more fat! Eat lots of fruits, veggies, lean turkey, chicken, raw nuts, yogurt, skim milk etc.
Here are some really good, low-calorie recipe's if your interested-more are added to this site monthly.

Good luck, I hope this gets you off to a good start!

Also, pushing a stroller while walking is said to be great exercise and burns quite a few calories, maybe take your kids for an afternoon walk every day or something to get in some exercise, if you have stairs carry the kids up and down the stairs throughout the day, this is great exercise! If you have a bike, take them on bike rides, or you can get those at home dvd's like kickboxing etc, they are usually 45 minutes long so you can do them while your kids are napping, or make it fun and let them try to do it with you-this will wear them out!

I hope this helps you get started!!
