I'm worried about my friend?!

Question: My friend is really thin, she looks like she's about to snap. I don't think she's anorexic, i think she just sees food as a chore, but she still needs to eat. Sometimes when i eat with her at lunch she has a bite of her sandwhich, decides she doesn't like it and puts it in the bin. I try to make a joke out of it and say she has to eat, but she doesn't get it. her bmi is 15, and i'm really worried about her.

i think your friend may be anorexic, but is trying to keep it a secret. she needs help. her BMI is seriously under the healthy BMI. you need to convince her to get help or talk to her parents either with her or by yourself. either way she needs to get help before she gets seriously ill or dies

I hate to say this; maybe she is using this as some kind of control thing. She's got your attention and maybe of some others. It may be the only thing she can control but in the meantime she is harming herself.
What is bmi? Her bmi is 15. What is it?

What about her parents? Are they trying to help her? Somebody needs to see that she gets some serious help.

Your friend probably *is* anorexic. Sad to say but, eating a bite or two of food the decided she "doesnt like it" seems like the behavior of a person with an eating disorder.
