How do i lose a few pounds? without starving myself or eating crappy food?!


Question: ive tried excersing but all its done is made me bulky. and ive tried dieting but protein bars and milkshakes taste horrible.

any recipes or meals in mind?

just in case you're wondering, im a figure skater. and i have a competition coming up and i wanna fit into this gorgeous dress thats a size smaller than what i wear now. & im not fat or anything, ive just got lots of muscles lol

Breakfast: grapefruit, oatmeal, yogurt, egg whites

Lunch: wheat bread, wraps, turkey, chicken breast, mustard (zero cals!), veggies, fruit

Dinner: turkey, chicken, fish (dont fry anything), steamed veggies, salad, fat free salad dressing, brown rice

Snacks: apple, orange, yogurt, nuts, dried fruit

Drinks: black coffee, skim milk, fresh squeezed fruit juice, water, crystal lite, unsweetened iced tea, green tea

Cardio: jump rope 10 min, jog around house outside 10 laps, ride bike up a hill for 10 min

If you like peanut butter, like I do.

Apples dipped in peanut butter is very good.
Also, popcorn (lowfat) is something good to eat.
Pretzels.

Lots of fruit, kiwi? oranges? Get healthy food that you love!

Eat several small meals a day (every 2-3 hours). It helps keep your metabolism up which helps burn calories (fat).

drink alot of water.cut out juices and if you drink pop DONT. alot of hidden sugars are in things we think are bad for us. just as an OB tells a pregnant lady to drink a ton of water to keep from holding water in. if you keep yourself hydrated it flushes the extra water out which is usually the cause of those few pounds everyone needs to lose. like when you see on those commercials lose 10 pounds in 10 days then it seems to take forever to lose any more thats all the excess water that gets flushed out of your system.

All you need to do is to eat more fruit and vegetables and smaller servings of meat, poultry, potatoes and chips.
