I'm 5'6" and I weigh 150 pounds .... Am I fat...?!


Question: No because your healthy weight average for your height is between 110-187 so you are right on. I would worry more about excersise & eating healthy then the pounds, if you feel unhealthy or if you know you need to excersise more then do so. Society thinks all women are fat if they aren't bone thin and that is just not healthy. Most of us live in reality and as long as you eat right and excersise even if it is a thirty minute walk daily you will be fine.

Hi I was 18 and I was the exact same height and weight. Two years later, I picked up healthier eating habits at university and I am 5'6' and 130 lbs. 150 is not fat at all, your BMI is perfectly in the normal range and you should not be at risk for any health issues. If you do think you can be healthier, of course do so. Just doing regular exercise and eating right is what works for me, and vegetables are the all mighty snack. I don't think you will lose weight but it might be a bonus side effect for being so healthy! Good luck. :)

what i do to determine that is i look up "BMI" (body mass index)
in the internet - get a site where it calculates this for you and read up the information after you punch in your weight, height,

If you want to lose weight though id say only 10-20 lbs or youl look like a stick
