If i exercise with a "cincher girdles" on my tummy, will It burn more !

Question: I'm going to the gym everyday, and I walk/run 20 minutes on a treadmill, I started using the "girdles" today, and felt my tummy really warm & sweat, is this helping me to burn fat faster?
I'm not fat, but I have the tummy, so I want to burn all the fat of my tummy, and I know that walking will help, but I was wondering if I use the girdles will help me have a flat tummy faster??
is there any other ejercice that will help me burn that faster?

and my other question is...
in the treadmill says : Time, distance, elevation, calories, cal/hr etc.
But I was wondering how can I know how much is a mile.. because it show (for example) 0.20, 0.45 etc what is that mean?
and what is the difference on Calories and Cal/hr?

Thank you very much for your help!!!! :)

have a wonderful day!

unless your talking about muscle building, there really hasnt been much evidence at spot reducing fat. those ab girdles are pretty much gimmicks otherwise you would see many people using it successfully, i mean, who doesnt think they have a belly :). but good work on the walking/running those will definitely get rid of your tummy along with watching what you eat.
stomach:
1. do abdominal excercises, they will tighten up the muscles in your tummy giving you a smaller look.
2.fiber. i work at a hospital and see a lot of people come in with bloated stomachs that go down a lot after theyre bowels start moving correctly. have you ever noticed how your stomach swells after a large or gassy meal? take in more fiber and strive to have at least 1 bowel movement a day, experts say you should really have a bowel movement after each meal, but who does that :)
3. excercise in general like your doing. you will lose fat all over, your tummy too :)

fat burning excercise:
1. running , running, running
2. walking, walking , walking
weigh your self prior to starting say a 2 week plan of
running 3 times a week and walking the rest and see how much you lose after 2 weeks. its amazing.

treadmill
1. the numbers on the treadmill tell you your distance in meters or miles. 0.20 is almost a quarter mile , and 1.0 is one mile.

calories per hour
1. tells you how much calories your burning at your current rate. if the machine says 650 cals/hr, this means if you kept up that rate for one hour you would burn 650 calories.
2. when the machine says just "calories" this means the amount of calories you have burned already. so if it says 35 calories, this means that if you stopped right now you have burned 35 calories.

by the way, i have heard that even though girdles dont really work as advertised, they are still beneficial because the cause you to sweat more which will help, its just not targeted to stomach fat, just all fat.

Holding your abs tight during all of your exercises is about the best way to target your abs. If the distance says 0.45, that means .45 mile, or just under a half mile. Calories refers to the total number of calories burned during your workout, and cal/hr refers to the number of calories you would burn per hour at the rate you are walking.

i don't know anything about the girdle, but i would assume that it does not work. You probably just feel warm because you are exercizing with an extra layer of clothing on.

The difference between calories and calories per hour is that when it says calories, that it how many you have burned so far. Calories per hour is the estimated amount of calories you will burn if you work at the same pace for an hour
