When and what should i eat to get the energy to do strength exercises?!

Question: First, you should be eating well all the time. That being said, no one ever really does. Second, no matter what food you eat, the ability to do strength exercises depends on how often you do them.
There is some ways to help though. Usually I eat fruit about a half out before I work out. Fruit has a lot of natural sugars that provide energy.Carbohydrates the night before a work out or a few hours before a work out can also lend some energy.
You should be consuming a lot of protein throughout the day. Like if you work out in the afternoon, eggs for breakfast is good. Meats are very high in proteins and so are vegetables. Proteins are essential to creating bigger muscles. Big power lifters will usually supplement their diet with powders and protein bars.
One thing to NOT do is to eat anything heavy or stuff yourself with too much food right before you workout-especially fatty carbohydrates. Actually avoid anything that has too much fat and anything that has carbohydrates for at least two hours before working out. Carbohydrates have been shown to make you tired. And it's really hard to workout on a heavy stomach

My coach says eat plenty of bananas and have some jog thrice a week every morning. And drink a lot of H2O.

Uhhh I personally take Men's Daily vitamin pills, Yeah thats what it is called, Men's Dailly

And personally I would just eat something light like a nutrigran bar or half of some protein bar. Because if you eat something heavy or like a protein shake, you won't feel like working out anymore.

Simply put, carbohydrates give us the energy to exercise and protien helps us recover afterwards.

Try simple carbs like fruit, energy bars and drinks for quick energy, and complex carbs like pasta and wheat products for longer exertion.

We would eat crackers before soccer games. Anything with carbs and protein.

What ever you do don't drink an energy drink! They have so much sugar; they are just so bad for you. Eat protein in the morning egg and such they will give you a lot of energy for the day. Also drink lots of water!!
