One thing to think about instead of losing weight, is to lose inches. Losing weight does not factor in the reality that muscle weighs more than fat. If you lose 10 lbs of fat by lifting weights, you might gain 2lbs of muscle, and then only see a loss of 8lbs of total weight (this is just for example, it's not a medical statement or anything of the sort).

So, I would measure my waist, hips (if you have fat there), thighs, and arms (in other words, anywhere where you have excessive fat), then make you goal to lose fat inches instead of weight units.

Now, jogging is the number one way to lose fat weight around the mid-section (in my personal experience). I would bike for four hours straight, riding 64 miles round trip, and I'd tone up greatly everywhere, but not lose the stomach gut as readily. I decided to start jogging, at least 4-6 miles a day, three days a week, and voila! Results!

The other thing to do is circuit weight training in the gym. The more muscle you have, the more fat you burn. That is a known scientific fact. Go to the gym, and for a half hour to an hour, exercise different parts of your body, from the top to the bottom. Get instruction if you need it, so you don't hurt yourself doing exercises with bad form.

And, DON'T STARVE YOURSELF! It does not work as a permanent solution. Make sure you eat breakfast in the morning. There's a reason it's called "break" "fast". Eight hours of sleep, and then you give your body AND YOUR MIND replenishment and nutrition. Your mind need nourishment as well to help with all your bodily functions.

Also, make sure you get adequate sleep. Lack of good sleep is known to contribute to retention of fat.

Hope this helps!

EW. YOUR GOING TO LOOK GROSS! YOUR PERFECT THE WAY YOU ARE NOW! you are going down a very bad path by the way you trying to lose

Yes, I agree with the last post, you're not overweight. If you want to be slim, just eat a little less food, but before you do, delay it. Make that a habit and eventually you'll start losing weight.

It doesn't hurt to want to try and lose some pounds...but first, instead of making that goal to ve 103-105 why not tell yourself you're going to try and lose 5 pounds? And if you like how it's going, try it little by little! I don't think 105 is a very healthy weight...Try 116. You've got a small frame and it's normal to have somewhere around that. Anything below you're probably going to look anorexic.
