Is there such a thing as a "natural" and healthy" salt?!

Question: For sugar, the healthy and natural alternative is Stevia extract (all natural from plant leaves). Is there a natural alternative for salt, that actually promotes health?

If you are on a low sodium diet, ask your doc how much you are allowed, then go to the store, and compare the sodium amounts on various types of sea salt and kosher salt. They are lower in sodium than regular table salt. You need a certain amount of sodium - it is an electrolyte, important in your heart and overall health, but you can have too much of a good thing, esp., if you have kidney or congestive heart failure. You can reduce what you get in processed foods by rinsing canned foods. Then you can measure what you add for taste. Try enhancing food flavors with fresh herbs as well as dried ones. Good luck!

No I don't think so. I highly doubt that.

i havent heard of any, however salt is not bad for you infact a body without salt will die. its just that we ingest something like 500 times the amount we need daily to survive.
