Are sunflower seeds a good snack?!


Question: I feel pretty hungry and I'm trying to diet. So my question is are sunflowerseeds(salted and shelled) a good snack to have for a dieting person? The total calories left in the bag is about 120.

yes, they are very healthy.

humans are designed to consume foods provided by mother nature. in terms of all natural foods they are always healthy unless you are allergic to them. consume them in moderation. the daily sodium intake can be as high as 3-4 grams daily

they are very high in sodium so I would say no.

i love them...but they aree SOOOOOOOO fattening

It is but you should get the unshelled sunflower seeds its less sodium

No they are high in sodium but i would try just normal pumpkin seeds the're good.

Eat the shells. Fiber. Will make you poop better. Unsalted are healthier. Don't eat whole bag.

if your going to eat them, eat unsalted, unshelled....but they are VERY high in fat! (sunflower oil.... will get you "running")

As long as they're unsalted I think they should be fine. But they're not going to help bring down your hunger. Eat fiber for that

if you eat about a serving they are good. they have some salt but lots of protein. protein is very good because it gives you energy, it makes your hair healthier and stronger, and helps digesting. they are much healthier than other "snacks". it is a good choice to eat . (: hope this helped you !
