The safest and healthiest way to lose weight is about 1-2 pounds per week. Attempting to lose 30 pounds is going to take anywhere from 15-30 weeks if you do it safely. You may notice in the beginning you drop weight very quickly, but do not be surprised or angry if some comes creeping back slowly. It's an up and down process. It's hard to tell you exactly how to go about this because I do not know your lifestyle. ALWAYS talk to a dr before starting any diet or workout plan...but this may help a little. If you drink regular soda, drinks with calories such as lemonade, sweet tea, juice, etc...STOP. Don't switch to diet, don't drink less, just stop! Start drinking water instead. It will really stink at first, but you will notice a huge change within a few weeks. If you eat after dinner (say after 8pm) STOP! That's another biggie, by eating right before bed, you are esentially telling your body it needs to work its hardest to digest, while you try to shut down for sleep..this will pack the pounds on and fast. By cutting this habit, you will also see a major improvement quickly. Add some cardio to your day, even just 20 minutes at a moderate intensity, heart rate between 130-160 will give you an energy boost and will give your metablosim a good kick too. Depending on how active you are, 110 might be too low for you, thats why you should ask a doctor. If you are athletic, do not go by BMI...You will never reach that "ideal weight". It is not designed for people who work out or have above average muscle weight. If you do not drink regular soda or eat after dinner, cut 100 calories out of your diet every week until you are down to about 1700-1850 calories a day...surely that will help. Get plenty of fruits and vegetables. (5-8 servings a day..which can be difficult, but you can do it!) Drink at least 8 glasses of water, eat healthy whole grains such as whole wheat breads, whole wheat pastas. Oatmeal and fruit is a great breakfast, you'll stay full but won't eat too many calories. Get enough protein for muscle repair and energy support. Ex: tuna, lean meat, chicken, non-fat dairy, protein powder, etc. Don't skimp on the milk and non-fat dairy, it's an important time in development and you need it! Allow yourself one cheat meal a week, something to look forward to! Don't go too crazy, but enjoy it. If you love pizza have a slice or two on Friday, but add a salad and some yogurt also. Hope this helps you out a little! Good luck, be safe, and most importantly, respect and love your body!

Run on that treadmill 30minutes-45minutes 5 times a week.

But if you're out of shape, remember, start slow.

People always ask the same question, How? Well, it's simple. Just eat healthy, increase your metabolism by eating small meals but lots of times like 5-6 times a day, exercise, don't eat fatty foods, and have patience. Cut out the soda and go for the water or Juice at the most.

You need to exercise for at least an hour every day. Eating healthy is important but exercising is even more. Running is the best way even if you are not good at it. I lost 10 pounds in a couple of weeks due to running and I didn't even need to lose weight. GOOD LUCK!

My friend joined the Army, they needed him to lose some weight. The diet they gave him was high in protien, but had him take laxatives, and jog everyday with a trash bag over his torso to sweat. As for healthy, I don't know, but it worked, he dropped a bunch of weight pretty quick.

1.Cut out full fat milk for skimmed milk (Skimmed has the same calcuim as full fat its packed with nutrients)
2.Cut out sugar use sweetner granulated is nicer
3.Cut out white bread and brown out eat wholmeal instead/
4.Drink water if possible or flavoured if preffered
5.Swim 20 laps a day.
6.Don't eat in the evening you gain.(Fruit is okay and toast)

I lost 7 pounds this week doing this im 16 its easy cut out sweets if you have a sweet tooth buy weight watchers biscuits theyre not fattning.

good luck

Running!!! I lost a ton weight when I ran regularly. And consider stopping drinking pop, even if you don't drink that much. I went down gradually from regular to diet to none. Set simple goals for yourself everyday (like "Today I'm not going to have dessert with dinner" if that's something you would usually do) and don't beat yourself up if you slip up a little! It takes times to change your daily routines and eating habits. Good luck!

the way i did it was to just force yourself to get into the car to go to the gym.. once your there it can be pretty fun.... start off with 15 minutes of strength training to get out of the warm up mode... then do like 10 mins of treadmill to get your heart rate up.. then eliptical for 20-30 mins to maintain your cardio heart rate... while having your heart rate up, go do strength training again... focus on muscle groups with exercises like squates and the curl bar b/c they work tons of muscles at once (you burn 50% more body fat from strength training after doing hardcore cardio b/c heart rate is still elevated).. and if each muscle is getting stronger w/ one exercise you can start eating more calories a day without them turning into fat b/c they are feeding your muscle (but you wont bulk up if you just do a lot of reps of a little weight, it will just tone you). then monitor your calories you burned, should tell you on the treadmill / eliptical... and after your gone and your thinking about eating something bad say to your self " if it was this hard to burn 200 calories doing the eliptical for 20 mins.. is it really worth it to eat this?" and thats pretty much what worked for me

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it (it's 100% natural). The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.easy-diet-fit.us where they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling.
Good luck!
