Does whey protein work??!

Question: I'm 18 yrs old and pretty skinny, but have been working out for the past couple months and look ok. I have high metabolism so i know it takes long for results. I'm thinking about buying whey protein, does that really help speed up the process? even and little bit?

absolutely. after a long workout your muscles need amino acids found only in protiens to heal and thus get bigger. a protien shake can deliver alot of what your body is craving after a workout in a quick time (liquid is broken down alot faster than solids) incorperating the use of protien shakes with other protien rich foods (meat, nuts, dairy products) will be very effective in ensuring that your building muscle and not just wasting your efforts at the gym

It can but, what is wrong with regular old protein? Eat eggs, beef, and your protein drinks.

you can bet your bottom dollar on it and take that to the bank.... its what you muscles need to grow.... just make sure you take it within 20 minutes of your workout for max results..... and if you want to gain muscle and have a high metabolism don't stop eating... everytime your are hungry until you are full then stop... don't stuff yourself

Yes, it will help build muscle.
