just take things slowly...diet and exercise. you should be losing about 1-2 pounds a week. anything else is just unhealthy. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF..IT DOESNT WORK

I just started the slim fast diet..you get all the nutrients but if you follow the diet correctly the weight just falls off. Im getting really excited about it.

It would be best if you had a gym membership, but if not then you need some dumbells - one set of 5 pound weights, one of 10 pound weights and maybe one set of 12 pound weights. The hardest thing to duplicate at home will be back, legs...anything with heavier weight. You may have to get creative and use the internet to find good exercises, but it can be done.

The first week or two you will be sore, but after 2 weeks even you will feel stronger and so much more energetic.

Meal - Oven fried chicken (moderate amount of breadcrumbs shaken with chicken breast, baked in oven 20 minutes using pam spray instead of fats), mini corn cob and 1/2 cup green beans.

Other good things to eat - oatmeal, egg whites, any fruits or vegetables, whole wheat wraps, tuna, any fish cooked correctly is great.

Eat however you want at least one day per week to keep yourself happy. It won't matter because you are burning fat and building muscle all week. Make sure to eat your protein! It won't only build muscles which burn fat, but help your muscles recover and help with soreness.

Go to www.fitday.com or www.sparkpeople.com to keep a diary of foods. You should not exceed around 1600 calories per day. Also watch sugar and sodium intake. These websites will give you a calorie and fat gram guideline )I think sparkpeople is better). You can also enter in the foods you like to eat as far as their nutritional content and keep a very accurate track of what you consumed.

You should see results in 2 weeks and really start the feel great in about 1 month if you keep this up.
