this is a huge common problem among men and women..believe me I know..i'm so out of proportion with tight top abs and looser ones down below. I had a football coach for softball in high school and to get our lowers toned we did a lot of exercises with our legs raised. like bicycles while on your back and sit ups on those big balls (stability balls) b/c the farther you can go back the more it works your lower abs. doing plain crunches or sit ups only allows you to go up and down to the floor..it doesn't reach around and get those lower abs. Do some exercises while on your back lifting your legs and I promise you you'll know what I mean!

hmm..it's gotta be something in your diet...did u cut out sodas and anything white like breads, pasta, etc? it's hard, but i'm having to do that lately. I'm trying going all organic. USA is the only place that hasn't banned all that bad stuff in cokes and pastas and stuff that's why we're the fattest country. It could be genetics, but I wouldn't jump to that first.

Could you ask your gym coach or something like that?

lower ab work involves raising your legs in order to achieve--reverse crunches--this would entail lying on your back with your legs raised straight up into the air (slight bend in the knees to protect your low back) and then crunching your thighs toward your head. repeat these equal to the number of regular crunches you do, and you will see a difference in you lower abs.

the lower abs are the harder ones to get to but if u keep workin at em then u should be fine. i workout a lot now and im 6'4 at 155 pounds but ive had a 6pak since about 5th grade but then i didnt have to try to do anything to see results

work out more? idk what to tell you

not everyone has the same definitive lines to their muscle tone, it has a lot to do with genetics and your metabolic rate. also, you're still young man, and your muscles are still growing, you might be surprised at the difference in a few years as opposed to now.
