Which is more effective?!


Question: i would like to lose 15 lbs in 1-2 months. will i be able to do that if i eat 1200 and walk a mile a day? or will i have to jog/run a mile or more?

you can DEFINITELY lose 15lbs in that amount of time. The recommended amount is around 2lbs a week, which would equal 8lbs, but 15 is certainly possible, because Ive done it myself.

The results certainly depend on how much you weigh, and what your diet is normally like. If you usually eat 3000 calories of fast food, then you drop down to 1200 cals of healthy food, then your body will drop the pounds very quickly at first becoz of the change, but not all the weight will be fat--some will be muscle and water, though you will still look much slimmer even from losing water-weight.

If you weigh under 140lbs, it will be harder to lose 15lbs in 2 months because your body is at a healthier weight to begin with, but if you weigh 170 or 200lbs, then 15lbs should be easy to shift in that time.

Make sure you have lots of wholegrains in your diet--brown rice, multi-grain bread, seeds etc. and have tons of veggies (especially greens!). Sometimes it's good to have soup before a proper meal becoz it fills you up so you dont eat as much heavy stuff. Lots of protein is the key to losing more fat and less muscle, so have lots of lean meats like fish, chicken, turkey, and other white meats...sometimes red meats can make you feel sluggish or heavy.

I think a mile a day is plenty of exercise, and whether you walk, run or jog it, a mile is still a mile. My nutritionist told me that as long as you walk for more than 45mins at a time, your heart-rate will stay up and you'll burn fat even if you arent walking all that quickly. It's good to walk briskly tho coz it gets your muscles working more effectively.

First of all to loose 15 lbs in what is it a 1 to 2 months

Will take some serious determination and I do mean it will not be fun

If you are looking at doing some serious work on the excess get ready for a good 2 1/2 hour intense work out

Get the stretches down pat first then the warm up then the work out time begains these are not part of the work out times



And I do mean the actual time of exercising not sitting arround taking a drink of water looking at the clock for the 2 1/2 hours to pass

I mean working up a sweat having to breath throught your mouth kind of work out

I cant say its easy to lose 15lbs pounds in 2months but try jogging a mile a day and drink a lot of water.Remember isn't when u eat is what u eat.
