Can a girl naturally loose weight over puberty?!

Question: I'm 14. 5'4'' or maybe 5'5'' and I think I weigh about 130-137lbs.
If this is possible when does it start to happen? I know you gain fat when you start but does it go away?

I am old now - 28 - and my answer is YES. I am the same height. I was pretty skinny through 7th grade and suddenly got chubby that summer. I don't remember my weight, but I do remember I went up to a women's size 6 or 8 from a girls' 14 basically overnight. I thinned out by 9th grade for the most part, and by 11th grade I was a size 2. (Didn't change diet or anything.) Now that I am old I'm a size 4, so the chubbiest I ever was was in 8th grade. I do think your body goes through a phase where it needs a little extra padding, and then you thin out :)

Everyone's different, you could loose weight naturally, but than again you could gain it.

Yes

You will have a growth spurt and that usually helps thin you out a little.

You'll be happy to know you absolutely can loose weight naturally at during that time. You just don't know what you'll look like until it's done.
So, don't sweat anything now... ie: big, little short, tall, ..

It can all change in what will seem like over night. :o)

Honey...The tried and true truth of the matter is
no matter what age you are...you have to figure calories in vs. calories used. Make a list of the things you eat most...think about those foods...see which ones are healthy and put a check by them..the unhealthy things...look at these to see how you can cut back. The more healthy things you can subsitute for the candy etc. the better you will do. Also do you have a friend that could play volley ball or tennis or go for a walk with you? Increasing your activity level will do alot...but you have to really want to do it. It's hard for about a week...and then it gets way better...sometimes it's almost even fun!! Good luck honey...you've got quite a road ahead of you...?
