Question: Normally when I workout hardcore I only lose about 10 pounds and a pant size or two.. I've heard that muscle weighs more than fat.

So, should I pay attention to the scale or get rid of it?

Fact: Muscle does indeed weigh more than fat.

Pay attention to how your chothing feels on you, not what you weigh.

The BMI (Body Mass Index) is also something I try to stay away from. According to the BMI, Randy Moss is obese. (he weighs too much for his height, which means he is lean with a lot of muscle).

    Okay, I'm always trying to take off 10 to 15 pounds and know by my clothes where I am. I don't have to get on the scale because I know what I look and feel like at 160,170, and unfortunately, 180. Yes muscle does weigh more then fat and can also boost metabolism.

    Ya muscle weight is more, because muscle is always there with or without fat ,that depend on the activity u do, when you make hardcore ,the muscle will be hypertrophied and weight more and by burning some or all the fat to be used as a source of the energy ,u will note the shape of your muscles very clearly, normally u will loss more fat, but man needs to make balancing between input and output not only fluid but also food, to keep his body fit.In the case of a women thigh and buttock r normally biger than the other parts .
