hi-5! you're almost the same weight as me(i'm 51 D:)! and the same height! however, i've realised that while my BMI is quite low, i am full of flabby fat. so i need to lose weight.
it depends on how much fat you have, i guess.

EAT MORE FIBRE! go to the cereal section of the supermarket and stare at the nutritional content of the cereals and the energy bars and stuff. you'll feel full longer.

Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!! in fact you are on the underweight side.. i am 5 feet tall and 50kg and people tell me that iam skinny!!!! you really don't want to loose anymore weight, you will look very unattractive.........

Uh... I think so.

No...

your bordering underweight so i would suggest you not lose any weight at all. Infact you would be probably better off by putting on about 2 kg and i would suggest some toning exercises if you are orried about yoru figure, this will give you a much better appearance that you will be much happier with then the bag of bones look that is a turn off and is unhealthy.

if you ant some simple workouts feel free to read some of my posts http://myfitmate.blogspot.com/ another thing i would suggest is pilates it is great for toning and core exercise BUT do not lose anymore weight at all!

110 pounds at 5-6 seems quite slim to me. 9 stones would be better!

At 5'6", 50kg (110lbs or 7st 12oz) is a little on the "too slender" side anyway. Why would you want to lose more. You'll be bony rather than slim and it just won't look right. Clothes will "hang" on you rather than fit you.

Just to put your situation into perspective, my youngest child weighs 28lbs, so just over half what you weigh. She's of average build and height for her age.

I weigh 53.3kg (or 118lb/8st6oz). That's after 3 children. Before I had the children, I was told I may not be able to get pregnant, because at 7 1/2 stone (47.2kg) I was possibly too underweight. I have a small frame, but am not "petite" in clothes. I tried my absolute best to put weight on as a teenager, but failed all the time. I actually don't care what I weigh now, its whether its toned or not that bugs me more!

If you are skinny rather than of average weight for your height and build, your long-term health can take a hit. Osteoporosis is a nightmare when you are older as it makes you prone to bone fractures as your bones are brittle. Your organs in general, don't work as well as they could if you are dieting all the time or are unfortunately underweight anyway. Your hair, skin, nails and cycle all show signs of lack of the proper nutrition and you'll tend to be always catching colds or viruses.

I don't mean to lecture you, but just want you to take a step back and really really take a long-term view of what you want to look like against what you actually do look like. If you can afford to, or have someone who will pay for it, go have a consult with a colour and style professional. Ask them to be honest with you about your size in relation to your build and body type. Make a properly informed decision about dieting or not, after that.

By the way, my youngest daughter is 86cm tall (or 2'10"). She's just over 2yrs old.

Edit: If you must try to look slimmer, then take an exercise class to tone your muscles. You will initially "lose" weight doing this, but will make your muscles denser and thus heavier. You can look and feel better by doing a class just once a week, not every day!
