Tips on losing weight with out losing flavor in your foods?!


Question: i am trying to lose weight by eating right but most of the food i eat that is healthy taste blan and i am a very picky eater only like corn, celery, and fresh brocc.also i don't like fish either.

experiment with foreign food. exercise too. or you can eat the sweet foods you like as long as you don't eat them as much

what worked for me was a combination of downloads, cds and dvds. I used the exercise dvd from beachbody.com called P90X. I used the weight loss and remove the sugar addiction from independentachievement.com All worked great. I got the idea from my co-workers who saw someone else recommend them from these Answers!

Celery and broccoli is our friend. Good fiber. I make sure I eat 7-9 vegies/fruit a day, and no white processed bread, crackers and pasta. Then I give myself permission for some butter, salsa, herbs, a little parmisian, soy sauce, a little cheese, lite dressing sparingly. I am a "real" eater and know I won't stick with it if I don't have these things. I couple this with water and exercise and am easily losing 2 lbs a week. I cut out stress and get enough sleep.

Well try learning about herbs and spices that can enhance the flavor of your food. Avoid frying food, stick to grilled or steamed selections and make combinations that will not bore your pallate.

I don't get what you mean by "only lke corn, celery and fresh brocc" Do you mean you only like those things? I was going to suggest chicken fajitas because peppers and onions have a lot of flavor and they are very good cooked in olive oil. I am on a diet and none of my food tastes bland. I eat a lot of good food and am losing weight. Just experiment with your tastes.
