What's the best snack to have before a moderate bike ride?!

bananas would work becasue of ttheir potassium... anything with protein- eggs,beef jerkey,peanut butter
A cup of yogurt with a little fresh fruit in it.

A banana is decent, but not very high in carbs/glucose. A cup of cereal with milk is a good bet.
Something with high carbohydrates or protein.. Like home fries (fried potatos), some sort of pasta, or eggs with a slice of toast.
I would probably suggest trail mix.. it has fruits (energy) and nuts... that or a piece of fruit of some kind
when I was training for athletics I was advised to eat bananas but a lot of people have protein shakes,as long as you do the exercise they work fine.
