Could this diet be healthy?!

Question: I was concidering starting a crash diet...
Breakfast: small bowl of healthy cereal (kellogs special k, or grape nuts, etc.)
Lunch: Just a glass of dole juice, with a womans multi vitamin, and a green tea capsle.
Dinner: Well, I'm not sure.... Any suggestions there??

SO two questions, would the juice at lunch bring my calories too low to still be healthy, and any suggestions for a light dinner.

Dude, dont diet all they do is ruin your body. What I suggest is eating fruits and veggies all the time, not dipping in ranch, that's where the pounds come from. Maybe do some activity at home like 8 minute plates, do that eveyday for 2 weeks then move on to the next step up on the video, I'll let you borrow it. do that for 2 weeks then the last one for 2 weeks, I heard if you are hungry drink water instead of snacking, and it helps a lot. If you dont see improvements... maybe my aunt will come through on her Oliptical machine by then... couldn't hurt might help!

Don't do a crash diet! It's really, really bad for you, and you won't lose weight. It causes more damage to your body than anything else!

I think that you wouldn't be consuming enough calories for it to be healthy. You should be consuming whole grains, lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, non-fat dairy products, lean meats, and minimal fats and oils.

I recommend eating simply for dinner. Some grilled, lean chicken, rice, and fresh fruit and/or dark greens.

a chicken salad could be a light dinner

Crash diets are not a good idea, not only can they be harmful to your body, but they do not teach you how to eat healthfully. When you crash diet, almost every time you will gain the weight back. If you feel you need to lose weigtht try reducing your calorie intake and increase exercises. Breakfast is good, (spacial K cereal with a grapefruit), lunch is very important because you have to keep your metabolism up in order to lose weight do a salad with protein (almonds, chicken, salmon, walnuts, cheese, lots of veggies) you can also use a low fat dressing, or yogurt with low fat granola, low fat soups are also good. Dinners are important as well, some great diet foods are chicken and fish, paired with rice or cous cous, lot of veggies once again. Make sure you take multivitamins and calcium supplements though! Good Luck!

i don't think its a bad diet but its not healthy either, usually it's recommended that you eat at least 5 small meals thru out the day , plenty of fruits and vegetables and a lot of water. For dinner i usually have a salad which i make with grilled chicken.

I don't get it, why are you spending so much time figuring out how to get AROUND being healthy? If you want to be healthy, it's SO simple. Just do some moderate exersise, and eat what you naturally know are healthy foods. Don't just cut down your eating to the bare minimum! Give your body a reason to burn calories, take walks or take up a sport!
