great abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym. the diet that you follow determines your body fat % not the types of amount of exercises that you participate in. exercise only provides stimulus to the muscles and central nervous system. the diet that you follow determines how much muscle and fat you have.

You need to do lots of cardio. Also the more muscle you have the more calories you burn during a workout so build your biceps up a bit aswell.

You have to lose all the fat on top of the stomach. Lots of weight lifting in large muscle groups (back, legs, buns) to kick-start the metabolism.

Add cardio to speed this fat-loss up. You can also try stability exercises where you hold the plank position for 30 seconds or more.

Stop eating white carbs--> completely- abstinence from soda would be very beneficial too
Then take up a sport that targets the core muscles. Kickboxing, rowing, pilates, x-c skiing or try a work-out DVD like the 5-star rated Ana Brett and Ravi Singh DVDS- they are the gods of exercise! Try them, you will not regret it-see for yourself! :

There are a lot of things that you can do to get a 6 pack. Sit ups, push ups- yes they work your abs if you do them slowly ( working out slowly works the muscles more which makes the workout more effective than if you were to rush through the workout), Try laying flat on your back, and holding your feet a few inches up off the ground for a certain amount of time - you will feel it in your abs! also try layin on your back with you legs out in front of you, spread you legs, close them- cross your legs, spread them again, then close them- cross them with the opposite leg on top.. that is one set, so do25 sets or so of those. Yeah that sounds like its pointless and will not do anything, but it will.. try it a couple of times and find out!

You need to first lose the fat. Jog in the mornings without eating; which is known to burn a high amount of calories/fat.

You need to build muscle. Muscle burns fat.

Drink lots of water.

Stay away from foods that are premade or foods from fast food places.

Eat fruits and vegetables.

Buy one of those juice makers that turn fruits and vegatables into juice. Trust me, It'll be the best investment you've ever made.
