yes your body need water not juice, pop, coffe, or tea but water now you don't need to drink 8 8oz glass thats not for every one how every new studies are showing you need to tak you'r hieght in inches, add to your weight in pounds then devid by two then that is the number of onces you should drink in a day i belive maybe it was just hieght but still you need wather can help with weight loss also

I know if you are dehydrated you are really tired.

Water does not give you energy. I do not know where people get this. It helps to make your body functions more efficient but it in no way increases your energy.
About the short term memory, I have never heard that. Doesn't even sound plausible.
The sluggishness, that has been tested and shown to be true.

Just drink water without thinking.

probably, maybe thats why doctors really recommend water

Water simply supplies oxygen allowing your brain and body to get more of it. So, yes, it does allow for better memory and energy. You should still drink atleast 8 -8 oz. cups a day. That is nothing if you think it is only 2 large (32 oz.) soda's worth at a fast food joint.

The body is like a battery, sometimes you need to add water in order to get and maintain a full charge. In a sense I guess it is true.
