Cheap, healthy recipes?!

Question: I recently had a baby and I'm trying to lose weight. I'm about to work out two or three days a week, but since I work full time, I've got the house and baby to take care of and I'm single it's hard for me to find time to cook. Any recipe suggestions that are healthy, quick, easy and inexpensive? NORMAL, everyday ingredients that don't cost a fortune, as I'm on a very limited budget. And preferably meals that keep well and I can reheat for leftovers. Thanks!

I would tell you to go to ebay and get a weight watchers cookbook for lowfat healthy meals.
I've done weight watchers without meetings or paying anything because my friend had all the tools to give me to help me start my diet and it worked
If you want to count points instead of calories email me and I'll help you out.

How about trying Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals....easy ingredients, short time of cooking. Soup and sandwiches are good in a pinch. Salads are easy, eggs (omlettes), oatmeal is cheap and great too! Stay away from things that are processed and full of sugar, those gobble up your dollars too. If you need something with "crunch", try some pretzel sticks on ocassion or those rice cakes, they come in alot of good flavors. Best wishes!

salsa chicken and rice very easy and cheap put rice in bottom of pan put chicken on top then pour salsa on top and bake until done .

Weight Watchers 100%!! The ebay idea is great! They have so many easy recipe's that are low cal and usally good in fiber, etc. I have been on Weight Watchers before, and am again because I love it so much. You can actually cook for your family and enjoy it with them-unlike Jenny Craig or Nutrisystem. If by chance you're nursing that baby...if you stuck to WW you'd lose the weight so fast, I lost 40 lbs in 3/12-4 months!

You could also join WeightWatchers.com and for $16 a month get over a million low fat recipes. They are really, really good (I've never made one I didn't like!) and all say the fat and calorie content.

There is also a food tracker and weight tracker to keep track of what you eat!
