Help, Is this too much?!

Question: Here are my particulars. I am trying to determine if what I am doing is helpful at this point.

1. 200lb Male/38 Years old/5'9"
2. Cardio 5X Weekly for 3600 Calories per week
3. 1500 to 2000 calorie intake per day (low fat, low carb, low sodium)
4. Weight lifting 3X per week (total body workout/Randy Couture) Calories included with the 3600

I am not losing any weight. I started three weeks ago and dropped 6 pounds from 202 to 196. I have since put 4 pounds back on. Does anyone have any suggestions? I may be doing too much too soon but I am not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like a great plan! The weight gain is probably due to the muscle you are building which weighs more than fat. It is ok to gain/maintain weight as long as you are replacing fat with muscle......
