Is it the best way to get exercise?!


Question: in my whole life i have had broken two of my ankles
I have veryy weakk ankles
I broke my left ankle two time and my right 3 times.
the last time i broke my ankle was may 27 07
It was bad. I think it is fully better, but i just dont want to chance it cuz i am super scaredd.
ughhh but i want some exercize in my life. I NEVER exercise except for walking around with my friends to BK, movie theathers, taco bell and cvs.
I want to bag train or kickbox. I cant decide which one.
Which form of exercise is better?? I mean it has to be good on my ankles.
if you have any other suggestions, please tell.!!

what about swimming thats a good work out for youre legs and body . even you can try to go join the fitness club where they have you use any exercise machines that you can use for youre ankes and arms. or do some bike riding

well all exercise is gonna put strain on your ankles, unless you do some floor exercises?? if you wanna kickbox or bag train you can buy ankle supports but i'm not sure if they're gonna help much. but it's worth a try innit?

I don't know about bag/kickboxing, but swimming is an awesome workout, and there are strokes that don't use your ankles too much.

you can start slow, like 30 minutes and increase 10 minutes everyday or few days.
then
there's Yoga you can do, where ankle is not concerned that much.

I've done kickboxing and I would not recommend it to someone with your history of ankle injuries. Hard impact on bags and pads is the last thing you need.
The best excercise is something you enjoy. If its fun you are more likely to be motivated. If you like going to the gym you can work muscle groups without strain on the ankles. If you want to do a martial art perhaps something like Taekwondo making sure that the instructor knows of your injuries, and barring contact sparring the rest should be fine.

At that height and weight you are not fat. First you should do balance training for you ankles. Stand on one leg with the other put out a little at the side( not bent because that defeats the purpose) for 3 minutes each. Do not use your arms just balance with your ankle. Then do the other ankle. Then again for a total of 15 times each ankle. Keep doing this and it will help with strengthening your ankles so they are less likely to be injured again. Another thing you can do. Do you have a basketball or soccerball? If not can you buy one of those kids balls for like a dollar? Get one of those. Sit down on a chair or the steps and put one foot on top of the ball and don't let the ball move. Do that for a while at least 3 minutes each foot for 15 times.
A third thing is go to your stairs. Face it going up. Hold onto the railing and drop your heels to the floor hold for 15 seconds and lift, standing on your toes.Hold for 15 seconds. Do that 15 times.
I had hurt my ankles and was always doing something to them. I went to physical therapy and have not had a problem since then I had to do these exercises. They really work but you must strengthen the ligaments, muscles, and tendons around that joint.
After doing this for a while say at least a month as many times a day as you can. Then you can go for more vigourous things like kick boxing.
You can start that also at the same time but be gentle for a month while you are strengthening your ankles. Also
Drink lots of milk. Eat your spinach, Take calcium tablets in the morning. These things will help build your bones so you don't break so easily.
