Are my muscles torn or just sore?!


Question: kk so the other day i was going on a rock climbing wall...about 20 times. the last time i went i only used my arms, i could not believe how much weight i could pull up on a full gravity wall. anyway by the time i got to the top my arms felt cold and kinda numb, it felt like typical weight lifting right there but after walking around for a min my arms tightend exessively and hurt like hell for about 15 mins. SO my question is, today are my arms just sore or did i tear something?

If there is not swelling, you probably didn't tear anything. You should have iced down after that. You can eat whey protein and l-glutamine when you work out to help with that. Be aware that you will bulk up over time, though. Good work on the rock wall though, those are hard. Keep it up though, you will get a great body if you don't already have one!!

What do you train in? I've learned some Northern Mantis, some chin'na, very little BJJ, and want to train in Kali.

Sore... at least I think so. If the pain doesn't subside in a week (provided you don't strain them again)... then I think they're torn. If you don't use your arms as hard that regularly then most likely they're sore.

i dont think its either one of those problems
maybe its because football season is over
heres what you can try to do
get NFL network where the football season NEVER ENDS
try giving your dog broccoli
if that doesnt work you must mix urine and mud with dirt and OJ and rub it all over yourself and your muscle
and then to cap it off spread it with the golden spatula and snap your fingers twice followed by spanking yourself eleven times in the butt

you probabley just strained it
consume plenty of proteolytic enzymes and put ice on your muscle and do not do anything crazy until you heal completely

also take some glocosamine
