Quick way to lose weight and tone your body?!


Question: So I've just signed up for a summer camp. And I know, summers far away, but that gives me all the more time to do it. I am 5'1" and 111 pounds. I just need an easy way to lose 10 pounds or so by summer, any good excersising routines?
How long do you think it'll take me to lose 10 pounds? (at my age 100 pounds is normal not anorexic haha)

I play hockey twice a week or more
I play soccer 3 times a week (2 practices 1 game)
I play volleyball in school

I'm going to start running 3 times a week and maybe swimming. I will not go lower than 100 though. Thank you! I just need to know how long it might take me and what is the best way to lose it in that ammount of time.

Since you exercise regularly already I'd venture to say that a lot of your weight is muscle. It'd be helpful if you'd add your age because what's appropriate for a 13 year old and a 17 yr old are two different things.

For toning of the arms light arm weights (anything 5lbs and below)
crunches and reverse crunches
push ups
lunges

Try using something (age appropriate) website that will give you new exercises and tips. My favorite magazine and website, even though I'm 19, is Seventeen. In the magazine they come out with new exercises every month & give tips on how to eat right at all times. On the website they have videos to really show you. Youtube is also a pretty good one because you can type in and search different exercises and there is usually always someone who's put up the correct way to do this and that. Also Sparkpeople.com is pretty helpful (they also have videos on Youtube)

Do not worry about your exercising, you are exercising enough in my opinion. I suggest you drop your calories per day by about 500 calories. Depending on your body and metabolism, you should lose your weight within 1.5 - 4 months. Good luck, I hope you achieve all your fitness goals =]
