What should i DO its hard for me to lose weight?!!?!


Question: ok im 17 years old 5' 2'' and about 145 lbs. so i dance 6 days a week for about 3 to 4 hours a day. and am on a competitive dance team. i have like toned calves. how do i get rid of them. and i need to about 30 pounds in like 5 months. its really hard for me to lose weight. i dont eat so much. i could eat healthier but i dont noe what to do. i cant starve myself. HELP what can i do to lose that much weight?

Its great that you get so much cardio. Ok, so here's what I did to lose weight (I went from 210 to 175). First, instead of eating 3 meals a day, try to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. It keeps your insulin level low (a hormone that causes you to store fat) and will increase your metabolism after just a couple days. Next, although you said you eat healthy, I don't know what that means. Some people think eating weird things is healthy, like all carbs, or no breakfast.
What really works is eating lean proteins (basically any meat that isn't ribs, or processed and slapped in a burger) and fruits and vegetables throughout your day, with most of your carbs earlier in the day. Its important to eat a balance of fats, protein and carbs otherwise your body will freak out and store fat no matter how little you eat. Maybe you need to eat a little more even? Your body might think its starving. Lastly, a very important part is weight/resistence training. A lot of girls are afraid of it, but if you have no muscle, what's gonna show when the fats gone? Bone? Try low weight with high reps, like 12-16 reps per set, to build lean muscle, not bulky stuff. Muscle burns calories even when you're sleeping! Hope this helps.

You're eating doesn't sound bad, buy why don't you eat breakfast? Eating within an hour of waking up keeps your metabolism from dying off, and you'll probably have tons more energy. Even if its just some low fat yoghurt, or a banana. Its best to have some protein at every meal though (Not bacon or sausages for breakfast cause they're packed with fat). Unless you're eating a tonne of rice without much else I don't think supper is an issue. Just eat 5-6 times a day, eat breakfast, do some weights and I think you'll do great. Oh ya, remember to stick with it for 21 days atleast, cause that's how long it takes to make or break a habit :)

if your dancing you will lose the weight but change it up a bit and run or walk also so your body isnt getting bored. I know your doing so much already but if the routine stays the same so will your body.

umm you 145 that allttle why would you wan to lose weight..but i guess..drink lots of water and green tea

do you know how much weight you could lose if you did eat heathier? it makes a different. don;t drink anything but water. the simple things, but thats a lot to lose in a month.
