Should I use heavy weights or light weights for my shoulder?!

Question: I am scared whether I would injure my shoulder.I read a lot here and there that shoulders are easily injured than any other muscle in our body.
Will I develop a cannon ball shoulders If i did my exercises with medium weights?

Lights weights will provide excellent development as well. Changing up the speed affects fast and slow twitch muscle fibers thereby increasing muscle mass. Overdoing it only becomes counterproductive. Heavy loads have there moments but form is of the utmost importance to avoid injury. I would rotate the 3 fore-mentioned workout choices as an individual workout.

start with light and then increase slowly..

It really depends on the exercise. Here's a list of workouts that work the shoulders very well and what weights would be good to start with for a 6 foot guy who weights 190.

Military Press - By far the best workout, best to start with 50 lbs excluding the bar. Get a spotter, best workout, but also the one that can easily injure you the most.

Side Lateral Raises - My personal favorite, start with 10 lbs on each shoulder, and work yourway up to 15 lbs. Going from 10 to 15 is hard, so if you can find small 1 lb weights to slowly add up, it's good.
