If I drink only water and ate 1100 calories a day how long before I lose 10 poun!

Question: 155 now and 5'6

Answers: 155 now and 5'6

About 4 or 5 weeks.

I think that depends on your genes and on workout routine.
I assume that it will that something like 2 weeks.

ok first of all this is not a healthy way to loose weight! are you crazy? you need to do some more study on health matters! another thing, why do you want to loose 10 lbs?? you are just right for your height and stuff. maybe if you need you can get toned, and healthy but dont loose 10 lbs hun you will look discusting.....

1100 calories is insufficient for fat loss for someone your weight. you need to determine your BMR and consume no less calories than that. when you consume less calories than your BMR requires the metabolic rate slows making weight loss harder and making weight gain in the future more likely.

Your going about this all wrong.
Eating less does not equal fat loss.

The key is to kick start your metabolism, to put you into an anabolic state, where you can lose fat (or gain muscle, but that's a different story).

Eat SMALL portioned balanced meals every 2 hours, and consume 1-2 gallons of water daily.
Include a 45min - 1hour cardio regimine in your day, everyday, and you'll lose 10lbs in roughly 2-3 weeks.

If you want to lose it faster, look into doing the above, but add a fat burner that ACTUALLY works.
Here's a list of proven fat burners.

Lipo-6 (and Lipo-6X)
JetFuel
Gaspari Cytolean
Syntrax Fyre

The top can be found at Wal-Mart.

About a week or 2....the only thing you'll lose is water weight though....add some excersize to lose real body fat?

depends on your age, genes and your lifestyle...... the fastest way to loose weight is to stick to a regular excercise schedule together with the reduced calorie intake......drink lots of water....

It depends on your present body weight.
If you weigh 300 lbs, then you will probably lose 10 pounds in 7 days

Remember it takes 3500 calories to lose or gain one pound of weight.

So if your daily calorie needs are approx 2000, then cutting 900 calories (with no exercise) will lead you losing a pound every 4 days.

However doing this, you are losing more water than FAT!

Long term plan for weight loss:
1) Exercise - Aerobics (Helps burn calories)
2) Weight training (Adds muscle, which inturn burns calories 24x7)
3) Sensible eating , with a net calorie intake close to your ideal body weight
4) Eat your meals in 5-6 small quantities throughout the day

well if you cut your calories down too drastically (im not sure how many you were eating) your body will believe that you are trying to starve it and it will store fat--and not want to let it go. in the beginning, dont cut down more than 500 calories from where you are. i hate to say it, but exercise is so important.

how much do you want to weight? what is your goal? i would not go below 1300 calories a day if i were you (because at 5'6" you dont want to weigh under 130 lbs--that would be unhealthy and your muscletone would disappear), and i would exercise--walking is the best exercise for your heart and body.

drinking water is a really great idea, and if you like things like green tea, it helps detox your body.

be careful and dont cut your calories down too low --it will be hard to lose the weight, and what you do lose you will just rebound and regain it even quicker. cut out junkfood, sugar, and white bread--switch to whole wheat bread and pastas.

Probably 3-5 weeks.

It depends on how much you exercise. The body automatically slows down its metabolic rate and tries to conserve energy during starvation. And this automatic survival mechanism prolongs the time it takes to loose weight.

The best way to loose weight is to avoid activating this automatic survival mechanism. Change the kind of food you eat. Eat lots of food that has bulk but not a lot of calories. It's called low-calorie-density-food. And when you eat this kind of food, then it fills your stomach and makes your hunger go away well before you ingest too many calories.

Soups, salads, fruits, and vegetables prepared without a lot of oil and sugar are low-density-calorie-foods. And these foods have all the vitamins you need too. Which is good for your health.
