who knows, thats whats so special about them you see.

Nuts have protein and like most foods if you eat too much, then too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. Protein is needed to build muscle among other uses in the body.

they are a good source of protein. when eaten in moderation and at the right time, they can curb your appetite so you don't binge out on sweets.

because the colesterol/ fat thing is a myth it depends what types of fat you eat, nuts have lot of benificial elements like selenium etc that help remove heavy metals from the body (like titanium dioxide used in ready meals etc.

I think their good in moderation, I can't eat them like that I have to have the whole packet their so addictive and then thats likes 50% of my daily fat intake used up.

Many nuts are high in monounsaturated fats like omega-3. These help transport low density lipoprotein (LDL) out of your arteries and body. It is counter intuitive, but the increased "good fats" and complex carbohydrates staves off hunger much longer than simple carbohydrates. They also help you burn more calories and help carry away "bad fats".

Will just eating lots of nuts help you lose weight? Only if it can help you eat less total calories and you exercise. Nuts are really good for your heart.

Many nuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. In studies, it was shown that nuts can lower LDL (bad cholesterol). Therefore, it is good for your heart.

Have you seen someone loves nuts like crazy? Wouldn't you say he go nuts for nuts?
