Congratulations, I know it's hard. Maybe a week, but possibly more. My mom quit soda and it took her a month, but she was very sensitive to caffeine to begin with. My dad only took 1-2 weeks. Either way, it's going to a a long, hard couple of weeks. Good job on taking the first step, and good luck. Don't give in!!! Maybe have tea (green tea-[actually does have a little bit of caffeine], herbal, decaf, etc.) if you crave coffee, and seltzer water if you crave soda. Even though they don't have caffeine it may make you feel a tiny bit better. Excersize helps too, and drink alot of water. Make sure you have some aspirin on hand too :-)

Give It Time. If You Excercise Alot, And Keep Away From The Caffeine You Should Start Feeling Better In About A Week.

When I went off coffee, it took me about a week. It was a long, hard week, but I pulled through.

It takes a day. I have done it. I just went cold turkey on caffeine and next day I would have caffeine withdrawals. They suck too.

You don't need to do that you can drink diet soda with no caffeine or coffee that has no calories but limit it.

It varies from person to person. I honestly haven't had soda in so long that I don't remember how long it took. I was never much of a soda drinker, but I drank coffee a lot. Try having a cup of plain green tea in the morning. Green tea is actually healthy, and will wake you up without adding garbage to your body or giving you a buzz that will lead to a crash later.

I wish i can stop drinking diet coke. Its like a drug I almost drink about 2 liters a day.
