Burn 400 calories a day?!


Question: i would like to lose 15-20 lbs in 2 or 3 months. to do this i am eating 1200 calories a day (which is 600 less then my bmr) but i need to burn 400 a day by exercise. so my question is, how can i burn 400 calories by exercise. currently i am running a mile or 2 a day but that only burns 150 or so calories. so what exercise will burn 400 calories and won't take too long. thankyou

Jump roping is an excellent way to burn calories. It burns about 200 cals for jumping 10 minutes. Make sure you are doing core work so your strengthening the muscles in your abdominal :]

running and cardio you loss alot of weight

kick boxing....

I have an elliptical and when it is on the highest resistance and you go at a steady pace, I can burn 500 calories in 20 minutes (or that is what the calorie counter on the elliptical says).

I can burn about 1000 in 1 hour (takes longer because i usually unconsciously slow down the longer I exercise).
