I eat very late at night how do i stop it!?!


Question: ok so heres my problem, I'm not overweight i'm actually pretty in shape i'm 5'7 about 115-120lbs, however for the past month I've been eating really late at night. Im talking ill eat dinner so you'd think I god to go to sleep but i will get reallly tired laying in bed ready to go to sleep but i get soo soo hungry. I actually get up and get food and eat it like i feel like im starving! its only really late at night when it happens like when im ready to go to sleep but i cant go to sleep because im so hungry! does anyone know how to stop this!?!?! i hate eating so late, i know things like this can eventually catch up with people

drink a large glass of ice water, it fools the tummy.

Make you cup of tea and go to bed with the cup and nice book.

Chug water.

If you gotta eat, eat a pickle. Pickles are nice and crunchy and low calorie. Hate pickles? Eat a carrot. My point is, eat something crunchy munchy (your brain will like that noise) and you won't have to feel guilty.

here is what i would do. around 8pm eat a banana and it will fill u up. no more loud grumbly tummy for u

Stop doing that! I eat dinner around 6:00, and maybe have a snack at 8:00, but know I shouldn't eat past that.

If you're unable to stop, the best thing you can do is to stay up after you've eaten for at least an hour and try and do some cardio of any kind.

I had the same problem. After dinner, around 8PM, I took 2 benadryl. It knocked me out and slept though the night. I did this for about a week to get my body used to the fact that it was not going to get more food. It worked. I don't have to take the benadryl anymore and I am not hungry late at night.

Drink water. I am serious. Water fills you up and decreases your hunger. I drink water everyday. It helps to fill you up and you dont feel like eating.

try eating some high fiber after dinner as it helps fill you and it brakes down slower and keeps hunger at bay . stay away from anything sweet , as sweet items turn into insulin in your body and you will crave sweet stuff even when you are full, but you will just feel the need to eat !!

I hope it is not meat cause eating meat is immorral.

Since it's happening at night it may be that you're not getting enough carbohydrate with your dinner. Try having more wholegrains like brown rice and see if this helps.

If not, I find drinking a warm drink like fruit tea fills me up without the calories.

It may not even be hunger, you may just be bored so could try doing an activity you enjoy when you start to feel cravings.

If all else fails I find brushing my teeth soon after eating means I'm less likely to snack later.
