I'm going to start taking ephedra for weight loss how many mg are safe!? NO !

Question: The FDA recommends no more than 24 mg in a day- that is 24 hours, and that you use it for no more than 7 days. No one can tell you with any kind of certainty what the exact safe limit or amounts are though, as there are not any studies to determine what that might be. You don't want the lecture, but one consideration you might make is that since it is sold as a nutritional supplement, and is herbal in origin, there are not any ways to determine exactly what the dosage of the ephedra you take will be. The company may state that a capsule contains a certain amount, but no regulation exists that says that it must. Herbal preparations often vary in dosage, because obviously the concentrations can vary from plant to plant. If you are truly determined to do this, then the safest would be to take one from a company you have a great deal of trust in, and then for no more than a week.

You're setting yourself up for failure. Don't be lazy; do the work, get the result. As simple as that.

zero mg would be safe.............

Depends, if u trying to lose 5-10 pounds then just look at the bottle it came in, the instructions should say...but if u looking to lose like 50+ pounds, it aint gonna work unless u planin to stay on ephedra for the rest of ur life, the moment u get off it, youll go right back to square one!

hi friend,
this is very effective website for weight loss info for free try this it's help you hope visit

I know you don't want lectures, but let me tell you my story. I started taking Mini Thins (ephedra 25 mg) . I was working nights. I would take one then two then three. It takes more and more. Ohh the weight did come off. BUT, DEPRESSION, not any depression, but MAJOR DEPRESSION WITH SUICIDAL IDEATIONS set in as a direct cause of my use of ephedra, a legal drug that I was using in legal and approved amounts---I was not abusing or taking more than I should in a 24 hour period. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE of this drug. It is not safe by no means.

Have you not read the cases of stroke ,heart attack, and death caused by this drug? I mean really how important is lossing weight at that cost? when really its simple... cut your calories to 1500 -1200 a day and do about 30 minutes of exercise.just cutting the calories alone should make you drop 2 pounds a week. Put some effort into the weight loss and it wont come back

....I was about to lecture and then i saw that you had post "NO LECTURES!?" Good day.

blah blah no lecture but obviously your gona get em here lol.. all i can say is search ephedra side effects in google and stroll through the list of people that have died of heart attacks! and if you dont know how to take it well.. the risk factor just multiplies.. it has been banned in Australia many years ago and for good reason, the heath dept. didnt like the fact that we would be filling morgues with dead bodies.

Zero mg. of ephedra are safe.

Do the weight loss with exercise and good eating and forget the drugs.

This is not a lecture. If you're thinking of getting ephedra over the Internet, don't be so sure that what you're getting is what you ordered.

Just like the toys containing lead and the toothpaste containing antifreeze coming out of China, it's the same thing with drugs over the Internet. Lots of the 'diet' drugs contain cocaine, heroin, phenylpropanolamine, amphetamine and a whole host of other illegal drugs that are addictive. Others contain nothing at all-but they'll charge you $120 for a month supply & hope that the placebo effect works.

If nothing else, they got your money AND your credit card number! You can't believe how many people find their credit cards hijacked and used all over the globe within 24 hours of ordering. Because you've ordered something illegal they know you are not going to report them to the police, either.

I ordered a simple Armour thyroid once over the net because my insurance wouldn't cover natural thyroid - only synthetic, and it took months to get my credit fixed. Thank heavens I only had 2 thousand dollars credit on that particular card - they still charged almost 8 grand of electronics, etc. Taught me a hard lesson.

Ephedra is banned for a good reason, by the way: it causes the heart to oscillate out of control. It also interacts with many foods/drugs. There are other ways to lose weight that won't kill you.

So, if I were you I would stick with the best way to lose weight of all: stay away from anything white: ie. sugar, white flour, potatoes, rice, etc, eat proteins which keep you from feeling hungry a long time, lots of fiber which also keeps you from feeling hungry and keeps your intestines running smoothly- and many vegetables are NEGATIVE calories, so you can eat them to your heart's content and still lose weight but get plenty of good vitamins and minerals. if you start your lunch and dinner off with soup it also helps you lose weight. Many soups have only 100 calories a bowl, but are very satisfying. then you naturally eat less.

Don't believe the myth of 8 glasses of water a day, either. That just fills you up for 30 minutes and makes you pee constantly.

Good luck.
