Should you eat before or after you exercise?!

Both. Eating about an hour before running or lifting gives you energy, so look for a good carb source. After running, you generally want fructose, because fructose refills the glycogen lost during the exercise, so any fruit is fine. I also have protein just to avoid losing muscle. Same as lifting, but without the fruit, I get my carbs from a supplement.

Well you should eat before but not to soon before about two hours prior to exersising so you can have all the energy from the food with you while you are exersising. Hope that helps.

if you're doing cardio, then eat before for the energy benefit. if you're lifting weights then before and after to give those muscles the necessary nutrients to rebuild

I usually try to eat a piece of fruit before I exercise. The natural sugar gives me a bit of an energy boost without the crashing that usually follows sugar.

As long as you do not eat close to when you exercise, you should be okay. The issue is your stomach being scrunched up while you exercise (it takes 2 hr for your stomach to empty) and your stomach not being able to handle it afterwards. Although, always make sure that you have an adequate supply of water when you do exercise.

eating GOOD carbs about an hour before your workout will help give you more focus and energy. After a workout, you need to eat something high in protein.
