Question: I am starting my diet tomorrow, Fri. Jan. 25 until Mon. Feb. 25. I currently weight 155 pounds, 5'6, and 27 yrs. old female. I don't do much exercising but I do walk a lot. I also do a lot house work when I get off of work. What else can I do to lose 12 pounds by Feb. 25

Eat lean meats, veggies and fruits. Stay away from sodas, fried foods and sugar. Drink lots of water. Even though you walk a lot you have to walk at a pace that will get your heart rate up and you have to do it for at least 20-30 min. Look for a DVD called Walk Away the Pounds. It is by Leslie Sansone. You can walk in your home. It really does work

Get of the computer and go running.

eat 6 tiny meals a day that speeds up ur matabloism its y swimmers and runners are always hungry but are really tiny.................any u need to run or do some other exercises oh=oh oh oh and try cuting out bread thats really really helpful good luck

Obviously, cardio is good. As for diet, cut the meat and dairy. Eat only fresh veggies, nuts (limited), and beans. Make sure you eat some broccoli for calcium. Lots, lots, lots of water... It will keep you from feeling super hungry. Take a multi-vitamin. If fresh veggies aren't practical use frozen ones but avoid the canned ones. If eating pasta or bread only eat whole grain and still limit how much you eat of it. Unless you are solid muscle now, you should be able to lose it.

No booze. It's all empty calories anyways. I can't stress this enough.
Cut back on sugars.
Cut back on the breads. (But don't substitute with more protein)
2 days before your goal date, throw a garbage bag on with some sweats and go for a walk around the neighborhood. This'll shed excess water weight. You may feel faint, but you'll hit your goal no problem.

Just bear in mind, this is a short term solution, given your timeframe. It's not really healthy, but it'll work. Good luck.

Exercise and eat smaller portions. Eat oatmeal in the morning ( 1/2 cup and hot water, no sugar, no nothing) and integrate more vegetables like celery and others that have fiber. This will start cleaning out your system. Drink lots of water, about 2 Litters, especially if you're exercising. Clear away from sodas, juices, cakes, ice cream, and anything too rich. You can still have some sweets but very little.
If you like to munch between meals, eat veggies, fruits and nuts.

That's too much to lose in one month. I would aim for 6-8 lbs. You must start exercising alot, walking is fine, but you'll have to do it at least 45min to an hour a day. Slim Fast is the quickest, easiest and healthiest way to lose quickly. Take a multi vitamin everyday and eat no white starches and only the occasional whole grain bread/rice cake. Eat sweet potatoes, green vegies and abstain from all juices and alcohol. No fried foods or breaded foods. Lean meats, fish, chicken with no breading. Drink Green tea daily to raise your metabolism and flush your system. Three cups should do it. No eating 2 hours before bed time.

As for the last six pounds, wear black, strechy fabrics and invest in some Spanx, they'll tuck it all in and slim you instantly.
